The fleet

Every aircraft we fly, described in full.

One type for charter, because it reaches airports a jet cannot. Two for training, because students keep flying them long after the checkride.

Charter fleet

Cabin class, without the cabin-class expense.

Available across the United States, Canada and Mexico. Two crew on every flight, maintained in our own Part 145 repair station.

The machine to meet your mission

The benchmark against which every other aircraft in its class is measured — jet-like capability with turboprop economics, and a cabin that outclasses considerably larger airplanes.

Runway required

The number that decides where you land.

A 3,300-foot requirement opens mountain strips, coastal fields and links courses that heavier aircraft simply cannot use.

Takeoff distance required, drawn to scale. At thirty-three hundred feet the King Air asks no more of a runway than a light jet does, and seventeen hundred feet less than a large-cabin aircraft — which is what decides whether you land at the field you want or the one that will take you. Comparison types are industry reference aircraft, not part of the Clipper fleet.

Training fleet

The airplanes you will learn on.

Modern Cirrus airframes with glass flight decks and whole-airframe parachutes, flown from the first lesson through to advanced ratings.

Cirrus

SR22

The step up in power, range and instrumentation

310 horsepower, a whole-airframe parachute and a full glass flight deck. The airplane most of our students finish on, and a good many go on to buy.

SR20

Where most Clipper pilots begin

A side-stick, a glass panel and a parachute make the SR20 a serious airplane made forgiving, and the right place to learn if you intend to keep flying.

Individual registrations, build years and avionics fits are confirmed at the point of booking — aircraft assignment depends on the mission and the schedule.

The aircraft is the easy part

Tell us the mission and we’ll bring the airplane.

Send us the route, the dates and the passenger count, or simply the problem you are trying to solve, and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right answer to it.
