A modern trainer that teaches modern flying
Most first lessons at Clipper happen in an SR20. It is docile enough to be a genuine primary trainer and modern enough that nothing has to be unlearned later.
Students fly a glass flight deck from the first hour, which means instrument scan, automation management and situational awareness are taught as habits rather than retrofitted at the instrument rating.
It is also the aircraft behind most of our Discovery Flights — thirty minutes of the Los Angeles basin from the left seat, with an instructor beside you.
